Summer Services are at 10 am, each Sunday. Check the side bar on the right of this page for the location each week, as there are a couple of special occasions/locations. Child Care is provided during worship when it is held at the Unitarian Society building.
During the public school year, we offer a vibrant and active religious education program for children and youth. Children in the RE program from toddler through 6th grade begin Sunday in the sanctuary and then leave for classes after our opening, a story for all ages, greeting and hymns. We offer a full program of Religious Education, beginning with pre-schoolers, Our building is vibrant and full, and some age groupings are offered at one or the other of our services, but not both. If you are visiting for the first time, please know that children are welcome in our RE program, but must check in with the Director of Religious Education. Not all classes have openings. For the school year 2011-12, we have openings in age 2 through 5th grade at the 9:15 service and for age 3 through 7th grade at the 11:00 service. Feel free to get in touch with Cindy Beal, our Director of Religious Education ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 413-584-1390 ext. 203), if you have enrollment or other questions. To download a printable registration form, click here. Children are always welcome to sit with their parents during the service in the Great Hall. Parents of infants and toddlers under the age of 2 are invited to keep their children with them in the sanctuary, or, if your child is restless, in the Parlor directly behind the sanctuary. Equipped with toys and comfortable furniture, this is a good place to hear the audio-transmitted service while children play. Our High School Youth Group meets each Sunday afternoon and is always open to high school youth of our congregation who have completed the Eighth Grade Coming of Age curriculum. In addition, we invite high school youth who are newcomers to our congregation to join us in an exploratory process during the first 6 weeks of the year. After an orientation process, they are asked to commit to the program. Learn more about Youth Group. |
